Wearable medal commemorating the centenary of the birth of His Majesty Emperor Wilhelm the Great, March 22, 1797 – 1897. The medal, made of silver-plated base metal, is in very good condition with only minimal wear. The silvering is completely intact, with an untouched patina. It is mounted on a black, white, and red ribbon with a pin. The medal measures 33 mm in diameter.

Obverse: Within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, a bust portrait of Emperor Wilhelm I in uniform with the German Imperial Crown. Below the wreath band, the manufacturer's mark "Lauer".

Reverse side: Berlin National Monument at Schlossfreiheit with inscription.
