NSDAP Service Award in Silver (2nd Class), solid version

Obverse and reverse with an embossed round central shield. The arms of the cross have a wide, double-stepped border, similar to an Iron Cross. The inner, raised border is cross-hatched, the outer, wide border is smooth and polished. The inner surfaces of the arms are slightly convex and enameled in deep blue. Silver rays are projected from the angles of the arms, the central ray being longer and bolder, clearly exceeding the others. A simple, soldered loop with a closed suspension ring is attached to the upper arm of the cross.

Front (obverse):

• The edge of the round central shield is formed from a silver oak leaf wreath tied at the bottom with a cross band.
• In the center is a silver party eagle, facing left (from the eagle's perspective), with outstretched wings. In its talons it holds an upright swastika within an oak wreath.
• The eagle's wings clearly extend beyond the oak leaf wreath of the shield's border on the left and right.
• The background of the sign is also enamelled in deep blue.

Reverse side:

• The edge of the round central shield is formed by a silver oak leaf wreath tied at the bottom with a cross band. There are five oak leaves on each side.
• Within the enclosed field is the four-line silver inscription in Fraktur script: "Loyalty to Führer and People".
• The background is again enamelled in deep blue.

• The 1st grade (bronze) of the NSDAP long service award was awarded after 10 years of service on a brown ribbon with two white border stripes.
• The 2nd grade (silver) of the NSDAP long service award was awarded after 15 years of service on a blue ribbon with two silver edge stripes.
• The 3rd grade (gold) of the NSDAP long service award was awarded after 25 years of service on a red ribbon with white gold border stripes.
