The Baden Gau Honor Badge in Silver was established in 1933 by the Baden Gauleiter, Robert Wagner. It commemorated the tenth anniversary of the Nazi Party (NSDAP) in the Baden Gau. Unlike simple commemorative badges, this was an official party award, retrospectively honoring the loyalty of deserving members during the early organizational and combative phase of the party. It was awarded in two versions, one for men and one for women. There was also a gold version for "Old Fighters" who had joined the NSDAP before the Beer Hall Putsch of November 9, 1923.
