Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914, on a dress clip. The buckle is in very good, lightly worn condition. The cross is made in three parts, the core is magnetic, and it has a beautiful, untouched patina. The reverse has a pin and a red felt cover.

Very rare as a tailcoat clasp!

A large medal bar in the so-called "dress dress" style is a phaleristic (medal-related) specialty for wearing full-size orders and decorations on a civilian dress uniform. Unlike the classic, horizontal military medal bar, this mounting style is characterized by an oblique angle. The ribbons are sewn and arranged on the backing plate in such a way that they precisely follow the steep, rising curve of the dress lapel. This oblique positioning also alters the visual arrangement of the decorations. The highest and most prestigious decoration sits at the very top of the lapel, while the other decorations are arranged downwards. In the field of medal studies, the dress dress medal bar is therefore considered the most elegant and technically sophisticated solution for integrating full-size decorations appropriately into civilian dress etiquette.
