Badge, Reich Colonial Conference Bremen 1938. The badge is hollow-stamped from bronzed iron sheet. Very good condition, showing only minimal wear. The bronze plating is complete. No maker's mark, but a known and reliable variant. Reverse side with vertical pin. Dimensions: 42,10 x 27 mm. Weight: 3,09 g.

The Reich Colonial League (RKB) was the decentralized umbrella organization for colonial policy associations during the Nazi era. The association was founded on June 10, 1933 , and restructured on May 12, 1936, under the same name as part of the Nazi Gleichschaltung (coordination) process. Franz Ritter von Epp served as its leader , simultaneously heading the NSDAP's colonial policy office. The league's primary goal was colonial revisionism , aiming to reclaim the German colonial territories lost in the Treaty of Versailles after World War I. The RKB's work focused on propaganda and public relations through journals, books, lectures, colonial exhibitions, and conferences. During World War II, and as the Nazi leadership shifted its focus to Eastern Europe, the organization declined in importance. The formal dissolution of the Reich Colonial League took place on February 15, 1943, on the orders of Martin Bormann, with the remaining assets of the association being transferred to the NSDAP.
