Badge of the Wehrmacht Air Force
The historical medals and awards of soldiers are as diverse as military history itself. Every era holds countless stories, which make military collectibles so fascinating. Militaria-Berlin offers you a wide variety of such relics – including Luftwaffe badges. In addition to sales, we are also interested in purchasing military memorabilia from estates, household liquidations, or other stocks.
Sale of pilot badges
Among the numerous Luftwaffe awards, the Pilot's Badge is one of the most popular among collectors. It was established in 1935 by the Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe, Hermann Göring. It was awarded to pilots as a training certificate upon successful completion of the pilot and weapons school and therefore does not represent an award for military achievement.
Sale of observer badges
The Luftwaffe's observer badge was different; it could be awarded as a pin badge after five successful enemy and reconnaissance flights.
Surrounded by a laurel wreath, the bronze badge shows a flying eagle with a swastika in its claws.
Purchase of Air Force badges
If you own Luftwaffe badges such as pilot badges or observer badges and would like to sell them at a fair price , we will make you a market-based offer. Entrust your militaria to an experienced and reputable dealer like Militaria-Berlin!
